on Monday of generating "ill will" and
warned US Senator John Kerry, who heads Foreign
Relations Committee of the US Senate, against
attaching conditions to a massive financial
support package.

75 percent industry shut down: Tareen

Finance Affairs Adviser Shaukat Tareen has said that
Pakistan will present nine-point economic agenda in the
upcoming Friends of Pakistan meeting in Tokyo, while
Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said no
pre-condition will be accepted in return for foreign
assistance.

Another Mumbai suspect held |
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan
confirmed Monday the arrest of another alleged plotter
of the Mumbai attacks and sought further details from
India to prosecute those involved in the carnage.India
blamed banned Pakistan-based Islamist group
Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) for the November 26-29 siege that
killed 165 people and derailed a five-year peace process
between the nuclear-armed south Asian rivals.

Pirates vow to kill US, French sailors
|
MOGADISHU:
Two pirates in Somalia vowed revenge Monday, after the
US military killed three pirates and freed a US ship
captain who had been held hostage for several days.The
pirates told a Somali journalist that they were angered
by the US action, as well as a French raid Friday that
killed two pirates and one hostage and freed four
hostages. "We have decided to kill US and French
sailors if they happen to be among our future
hostages," said Abdullahi Ahmed, a member of a
pirate group based at Harardhere, a coastal town in
central Somalia.
